Light show on to Torness power station run Friday 4th March to Sunday 13 March 2016

The "Chain Reaction" light show will be projected onto Torness power station every evening between 6.30pm and 10pm, FRIDAY 4 to SUNDAY 13 MARCH 2016. The Chain Reaction light show is a series of artistic interpretations of the complex and unseen processes that generate the steam energy that drives the electricity generators in Torness power station. The projection of these visualisations will animate the facade of Torness power station. FREE parking is being provided on the EDF road, accessed off the Skateraw Road just off the A1, and this parking will be marshalled. We do not recommend that you park anywhere else. The public cannot go into Torness power station and must not park on the A1. The show duration will be approximately 15 minutes and will constantly repeat so that you can stay and enjoy for as long as you like. As this show will run for 10 evenings, you can come and see it more than once."

  • This event is FREE.
